Ingredient
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
- 3 pieces of bread
- a little butter
- garden cress
- 2-3 tomato slices
- Or a leaf of lettuce and a piece of ham or cheese

Boil a pot of water and carefully add the eggs to it. Cook for 6 minutes, then cool under running water until the skins peel off easily. Peel the eggs, then leave to cool completely.

Grate or chop the egg, if you like, mix with 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise and some seasoning. Toast the bread.

Put a piece of bread on the board. Beat the butter, then spread the egg in three quarters and spread it on top. Add another piece of toast and gently spread over the remaining liquid. Add tomatoes or lettuce and ham or cheese (or whatever combination you prefer). Place the remaining egg on top, spread gently, then toast with the final piece of toast. If you like to cut the shells, then gently cut the sandwiches into quarters, being careful not to break the egg. Eat any sandwich by choosing a sandwich.
